Jixue Yang (She/They), a Chinese-born, New York-based pianist and educator, blends classical training with a passion for contemporary music. Advocating inclusivity, she premieres works by living composers, fosters cultural dialogue, and makes contemporary music accessible. Through premieres and global collaborations, she creates a bold, personal, and connected musical landscape.
Jixue is fascinated by philosophy, literature, cooking, astronomy, mushrooms, and nature.
